3D fingure Printing



It takes 5-10 minutes to take ink fingure prints, and even when conducted by a professional they still smug; making it almost impossible to match prints correctly when conducting an investigation. The University of Kentuky, in connection with DHS, believes they have the answer in how to improve the methods of fingure printing. They have developed a system that allso 3D light technology to take 10 fingure prints of your hand in 10 seconds. The light prjects a a structured gride created by many dots that wrap around ones fingures. From the 256 different shades of grey this device is able to capture a 3D image of your fingure print. The University, DHS, and the government firmly believe that this device is our future to fingure printing, and to increase accuracy amongst fingure print matching.
