The Pirates Bay folks have been found guilty - but have begun their appeals process which apparently takes a very long time. Everything stays as is while we wait for the outcome. This is going to be a lot funnier if there is a replacement technology that increases piracy way beyond BitTorrent and Pirates Bay.
There is a great line in the article though - "Every moment companies spend thinking about how to protect what is already lost, rather than how to innovate into what might be gained, is a moment spent hastening their own demise. "
